Co-Founder & Vice President
Brandon Smart, USMC (Ret).
Brandon is a retired United States Marine Corps First Sergeant who served on active duty from 2004 to 2025.
A passionate advocate for veteran career advancement, he also serves as the Director of the Veterans to Executives Transition (VET) Academy at Johns Hopkins University and is the Executive Defense Strategy Director at Imagine Believe Realize LLC (IBR). Brandon holds a Master's degree from the Naval Postgraduate School.

Joseph Mason (LtCol, USMC)
Joseph Mason brings more than 16 years of Marine Corps service and extensive experience in law, policy, and legislative affairs.
A former Staff Judge Advocate, he contributed to the Marine Corps’ Talent Management Strategy and later served as a Department of Defense Legislative Fellow for Representative Trent Kelly. Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from UCLA and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco. At Golf4Veterans, he uses his legal and strategic expertise to build partnerships, navigate complex issues, and help bridge military service and civilian success.
Director of Operations / Web & Event Director
Teresa Anderson
Teresa is a Nuclear Surface Warfare officer who supports Golf4Veterans through tournament coordination, digital operations, and event communications.
She plays a vital role in helping create a seamless experience for players, sponsors, and partners while strengthening the organization's online presence. She is currently working toward a Master's of Military Studies at the Command and Staff College.

Peter Thermos
Lieutenant Colonel Thermos brings more than 18 years of Marine Corps service and extensive experience in logistics, operational planning, and organizational leadership.
Lieutenant Colonel Thermos is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the School of Advanced Military Studies. At Golf4Veterans, he uses his leadership and strategic expertise to support veterans and strengthen connections between military service and civilian communities.
